Bonnie and Clyde theme wedding: A brief history of the infamous couple + Amazing ideas for a vintage wedding

Perhaps one of the most romanticized infamous couples in history, Bonnie and Clyde have continued to be a source of inspiration and a great theme for modern weddings. With elegant vintage details, outfits inspired by the era and a powerful love story, a Bonnie and Clyde themed wedding is a perfect choice for couples who are fans of old infamous tales and gangster movies. Does this sound like your dream wedding? If yes, then check out this article for more inspiration!

1. Bonnie and Clyde style wedding: The history of an iconic infamous couple

Sometimes love comes in strange forms. As seen in history and classical novels, some love stories do not have a happy ending. Two of the legendary heroes of such an unusual love were Bonnie and Clyde, also known as “The American outlawed lovers”.

They met in 1930, when they were both very young, a little past adolescence. Bonnie was already married, and Clyde had a few robberies on his record, so the two had found in each other the comfort and understanding as they had never had before, due to their tumultuous lives. At a first glance, it seemed that Bonnie tried to help Clyde escape the outlaw world, but to no avail. Moreover, the man had gradually begun to make her partaker of the iniquities he was committing.

Being on the run for 2 years, their love started to become dangerous. Bonnie is caught by the police during a robbery, but this only gets her closer to the love of her life. After being released, she chooses to continue this infamous lifestyle with Clyde.

Along with a gang of thieves, the two committed dozens of crimes that made them one of the most infamous couples in the history of mankind. With the police on their trail, Bonnie and Clyde resemble terror in the United States. The case got so out of control, that even the FBI got involved by ordering the two to be captured.

In 1934, their story came to an end – while visiting their relatives, the couple was ambushed by police and shot dead in one of the most frightening and spectacular shootings in American history.

The press condemned the police’s actions, especially since the robbers were unarmed and it is not known exactly if Bonnie committed any crime. Since then, the police have been required to summon anyone before firing.

The story of the two is still surrounded by myths today. But, regardless of the true nature of their story, one thing is certain – they had loved each other and been together until the end of their lives!

2. Bonnie and Clyde wedding ideas: Important details for a vintage event

The fascinating story of the Bonnie and Clyde couple took place in the first half of the 1930s, when America was under the Great Depression caused by the war. So, in addition to the famous photos of the couple, you can find inspiration in the details specific to that era. Here’s what to keep in mind when planning a vintage-themed Bonnie and Clyde wedding:

  • The colours

Even if the well-known photos of the couple were black and white, the ‘30s were colorful, with delicate details and combinations, in contrast with the economical situation of those times. The ‘30s were defined by pastel colors: cream, pink, green, lilac, yellow and blue, combined with stronger colors.

  • The location

The best place to get married for a vintage wedding is an art-deco ballroom with lavish decorations and chandeliers. Also, a castle could be a top location for a vintage wedding because it already has the needed decorations and the timeless vibe of roaring parties.

  • The look

The bride is in the spotlight all the time, but when it comes to a Bonnie and Clyde themed wedding, she is really the queen. For an iconic look, the wedding dress should be beige, with pompous embroideries, sequins, pearls and beads. A simple suit is perfect for the groom, preferably in a shade of gray or brown and with some straps specific to the era. Opt for natural and colorful flowers for the bridal bouquet – roses and peonies, lilacs, wildflowers, hydrangeas, jasmine, gerbera and many more.

  • The decorations

For a vintage-style wedding, specific decorations are needed because they are the ones that create the overall vibe. You can find these decorations at antique shops: large gold mirrors, porcelain figurines, pretty vases, paintings and silk or velvet fabrics.

  • The gangster details

A wedding with this theme cannot take place without the key elements that bring back the vibe of those tumultuous times of the interwar period. For example, you can appear in a car with a design specific to those times. You will also need a gang of friends and bridesmaids to greet you with toy guns and spectacular fireworks. “WANTED” posters with you and the “gang members” would be another great idea for more authenticity!

Hindu wedding ceremony: Beautiful rituals and customs + Inspiring Indian wedding themes & ideas for SPIRITUAL couples

A Hindu wedding is like a celebration of the senses. From the lively pre-wedding preparations to ancient rituals, bright colors and oriental food, an Indian wedding is a unique experience, ideal for spiritual couples, but also for those who are fascinated by Indian culture.

1. Hindu wedding ceremony steps: Ancient rituals and spiritual practices

Indian weddings are bright and full of charm, but they are also planned under well-established rituals. A wedding can last up to a few days, during which the groom and the bride will be visited by hundreds of guests. Even today, most of the marriages are still arranged, although in the last two decades more and more young people have chosen to take this decision on their own, finding this tradition obsolete.

Many of the customs of an Indian wedding will be found in the Hindu, Sikh and even Muslim religions. A wedding will be preceded by a series of ceremonies and rituals that will continue for a few days and even after the wedding.

  • Pre-wedding rituals

Rokka is the ceremony in which the boy and the girl commit to a marriage and will not consider any other marriage proposals in the future. This ritual is followed by an exchange of gifts;

Mangni is the ceremony when the boy’s family goes to the girl’s family with jewelry and other gifts in order to confirm the engagement;

Dholki is a high profile event that could last for several days and is usually organized in a banquet hall, where the lady guests sing traditional songs;

Mehndi is a ceremony that can take place either at the bride or the groom. The bride and other ladies are drawing henna patterns on their hands and feet;

Garba is held the night before the wedding and involves a lot of dancing. This ritual offers the opportunity for the two families to meet and have fun together before the actual wedding;

Griha Shanti is a ritual led by a Pandit – a Hindu priest who has the role of choosing the date and time of the wedding by reading the horoscopes of the future newlyweds. Ancient prayers are performed by the members of the two families and their relatives for the future couple to live a happy and fulfilling life;

  • Wedding day rituals

Baraat is a custom that represents the groom’s procession with his family and friends to the ceremony site. Many grooms choose to attend the ceremony on a horse or in a chariot;

Ponkyu is the official start of the wedding. The groom is received by his mother-in-law at the entrance;

Jaimala is a beautiful tradition that involves exchanging garlands and holding hands for the first time;

Hasta Milap – the groom’s scarf is tied to the bride’s dress, a ritual that symbolizes the union of their souls. Relatives will sing, pray and give blessings to the couple by throwing rice or rose petals;

Mangal Pheras is the moment of the sacred fire, when the newlyweds have to walk around the fire four times, representing the basic human purposes – Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. The priest chants prayers and the groom recites them. As a funny element, the couple must race back to their seats –  it is said that the one who arrives first will be the head of the family.

The ceremony ends with the Ashirwaad ritual, in which the bride and groom ask for their elder’s blessings.

Catholic beach wedding: Specific traditions and customs + Why is Mexico the best exotic destination for a Catholic wedding

The religious ceremony is the most emotional moment in a wedding. It represents the spiritual union between two people in love and the blessings they need in order to start a new family and create a unique lifelong bond. If you are a Catholic, but want to marry on the beach, there are some things you need to keep in mind when it comes to related traditions.

1. Catholic wedding on the beach

In the Catholic religion, there are some rules and canons that must be followed when it comes to marriage between two Catholic people. Many modern couples, who want to keep these traditions, have wondered if they can organize this special event outside the church. The good news is that, while things may get a little complicated here, it’s not impossible to have a ceremony outside of the church institution. Find out more, below!

1.1. Can you have a Catholic wedding on the beach?

According to canon law, marriage is a sacrament, which means that certain rules must be followed. One of these is that the ceremony must be held in holy territory, which excludes its planning elsewhere than the church.

There are, however, two states where Catholic couples can marry outside the church – Montana and Maryland, in the USA. However, in order to give the bride and groom the opportunity to express their vows in a different setting, some churches in Mexico were built on the beach, offering stunning views.

1.2. Catholic wedding on the beach – important traditions and customs

The Catholic ceremony is characterized by a series of beautiful and emotional customs, which are important for the preservation of tradition and church canons. Here are some of the most important traditions and rules specific to a Catholic wedding:

  • The father of the bride is the one who has the honor of leading his daughter to the altar, to the future husband, who is waiting for her in front of the altar – this moment is symbolizing the fact that the groom is now responsible for the happiness of his future wife. If, for certain reasons, the bride’s father cannot be present, she may be led to the altar by an uncle, an older brother, or, in some cases, even by her father-in-law.
  • The priest will ask a set of questions. After the bride and groom say “YES” to each of the questions, the priest will ask those present if there is anyone among them who knows any reasons why this union could not be concluded. Next, the bride and groom will say their vows, exchange their rings and the priest will bless them with a prayer.
  • The wedding vows can be ultra-traditional, inspired by the Bible, or written by the bride and groom. It all depends on the couple’s preferences as to what the vows will express, but many Catholics usually choose the traditional way.
  • Divorce is not recognized by the Catholic Church – if one of them was previously married, that person won’t be allowed to marry according to the canons.
  • The wedding can be held on any day, except the 40 days before Easter and 4 weeks before Christmas. The Catholic Church does not charge fees for religious ceremonies, but donations are accepted to the church if the bride and groom wish so.

2. Catholic wedding on the beach: Mexico, the ultimate destination for a religious ceremony

Every couple wants their wedding to be special. And what place can be more special than a wedding in an exotic destination, with the sea and the sky in the background? But for Catholic couples, this is not always possible. Fortunately, some churches in Mexico have found the solution – built on the beach, they offer a lovely view and an opportunity to create great memories.

Gran Caribe Resort in Cancun, Mexico, for example, is a special place that receives thousands of Catholic couples from around the world every year. The chapel, known as Our Lady of Guadalupe, is built mostly of glass and offers future brides and grooms the opportunity to have a traditional Catholic ceremony, but literally by the sea and with a breathtaking view.

The most beautiful part of a wedding in Mexico is the beautiful nature – the azure sky, the sound of the waves, palm trees and other tropical elements. The Catholic priests from Grand Sirenis Chapel have taken this into account – with a view of the Caribbean Sea and surrounded by exotic nature, this may be the ideal location for a Catholic beach wedding.

Catholic traditions have a special allure – emphasizing the importance of tradition and respect for family, the church canons are distinguished by the fact that they combine tradition with elements that can be adapted to modern times. So, if you are Catholic, but you want a dream beach wedding, do not hesitate to contact us – we will take care of everything and do our best to fulfill your wishes, in accordance with the traditions of the Catholic Church. Fairytale wedding: Magical destinations and themes for a charming ceremony + 50 pictures, ideas

The wedding date has been set and you have already decided that a fairytale ceremony is what you desire. But where should it take place: in a castle, in the woods or during winter, somewhere in the mountains? If you haven’t decided the details of your fairytale wedding yet, then find your inspiration in this article!

1. Fairytale themed wedding in the forest

What can be more fabulous than a wedding in the woods? Nothing can beat the fresh air and gorgeous surroundings, and the pictures will definitely be delightful!

Depending on the season you’re choosing, nature can decorate your wedding in many ways. The beauty of the forest speaks for itself, but you can still use some decorations such as safely placed candles, wreaths and any other wooden objects. The main idea is for the decorations to be complementary to the chosen season.

A wedding in the forest can be like a timeless royal story if everyone plays a role: you two become the main characters, while guests can be princes, wizards, knights or any other figure from fantasy stories. Or you can get your inspiration from Shakespeare’s play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream – this will surely be a party starter! No matter your choice, there are many ways you can organize a fairytale wedding in the woods, with costumes that fit perfectly into the magic of nature. Certainly the guests will be delighted by this initiative!

2. Fairytale wedding venue: Bran Castle

“Once upon a time…” –  that’s how the story of your wedding at Bran Castle can begin. As in fairy tales, good always wins, so your fairy tale must end with a lavish wedding that will be remembered for a lifetime.

This Romanian castle is not only imposing and majestic – Bran has a fascinating history behind it. You have the chance to welcome your guests in a location full of historical tales – that’s one of the reasons why a wedding at this castle would be a perfect choice, especially if the theme of the wedding is related to fairy tales.

Did you know that this castle was built more than 600 years ago and was originally a fortress known as the Dietrichstein, built in the 13th century? Despite it being famous as being the home of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the story goes a little bit different. The story was inspired by Vlad Tepes, a Romanian ruler from the 15th century, who historians say didn’t even live inside the castle. But even so, its history is no less interesting. Moreover, being built on a cliff in the heart of the Carpathian mountains, the views are amazing and quite unique.

For a royal-inspired wedding, Bran is the perfect location thanks to its baroque architecture and luxurious interior design. The carved wooden walls, large mirrors and chandeliers are details that will integrate perfectly in your fairytale dream wedding

3. Fairy tale wedding in the winter

Although summer is a wedding favorite, more and more unconventional couples prefer to tie the knot in the winter. Although the weather can be a little unpredictable during the cold season, it’s also the perfect setting for a fairytale wedding. The fog lost among the mountains, the trees full of life and the smooth snow – these details sure carry a note of mystery and romance around them.

Winter weddings should be cozy, so try to find an intimate location, which can be animated with lights and boho or vintage decorations – candles, cones, string lights, wreaths and shiny details. Play with a natural palette: pastel nuances, light blue and neutral colors. Also, try to adapt the decor to the chosen location and season. When it comes to the ideal place, a cottage is the perfect choice, mostly when it comes to small weddings.

In the winter months, however, everything is quieter, so you can get better deals from your favorite venues, photographers and entertainers. You can also spice up the wedding menu with something specific to the cold season, such as tea, Christmas treats or hot chocolate, as a part of a winter-themed candy bar.

So, the best part is that there are many sources of inspiration for a winter fairytale wedding! You can choose any theme, from Christmas stories to Disney characters, but nevertheless the most important thing is to keep yourselves warm and your guests as well.

Here are some of the most interesting wedding traditions in Mexico:

  • The royal mantilla

As in other cultures, the white dress is chosen by most women in Mexico. However, Mexican culture can be found in the little details, such as the bride’s veil, for example. This traditional veil is known as the “mantilla” – it is very long, made of lace and adorned with intricate details on the edge. Thanks to the flowing and delicate design,the mantilla gives any bride a feminine and romantic look.

  • The groom’s costume

As for the groom, there are many options from which he can choose. Official ceremonies can inspire him to wear a traditional matador costume, which consists of a bolero and pants. Other men choose to wear comfortable pants with laces, white or ivory, and a specific wedding shirt that has become a popular outfit for beach weddings. However, despite its recent popularity, the Mexican wedding shirt has a 200 years history.

  • The wedding invitations

On wedding invitations, Mexicans often include the names of the bridesmaids and “sponsors” (people who paid for the wedding expenses). This may sound strange, but in Mexico it is common to bring recognition to the people who pay for the wedding.

  • Flowers for Virgin Mary

While in other cultures, the girl with the flowers and the ring wearer are dressed up like the bridesmaids and groomsmen, in Mexico they are dressed to match the newlyweds. It is not uncommon for the children to wear a miniature version of the wedding dress, and the ring wearer’s suit to be a copy of the groom’s suit. Another role that a child can play in a Mexican wedding is to carry a flower bouquet dedicated to Virgin Mary.

  • The thirteen coins

Another Mexican tradition is the division of the thirteen coins between the bride and groom. The tradition has its roots in an old Roman custom, the coins symbolizing the groom’s trust and commitment to the bride. Often, these coins are kept in decorative boxes and passed down from generation to generation.

  • The paper decorations

“Papel picados” or Mexican flags are traditional paper decorations that are engraved in very creative ways: geometrical shapes, pigeons or hearts. It depends a lot on the specifics of the event. These decorations are absolutely mandatory for a Mexican-themed wedding. They are placed above the tables or around doors. The colors depend on one’s taste – if the ceremony is required to be elegant, white flags are ideal.

LGBT wedding destination GUIDE + Colorful themes and ideas

An LGBT wedding should symbolize progress on the perception of gender identity. But before you start planning and deciding on the location or number of guests, keep in mind that this event is about you as a couple and not about social or family norms, so it’s important to be yourself from start to finish. There are many interesting ideas on how to organize a gay ceremony, but a destination wedding has no comparison. Although there are still states that do not approve of same-sex marriage, there are some interesting destinations to consider!

1. LGBT wedding venues and planning – A short guide for a friendly experience

Same-sex couples can express themselves freely and make their own rules, considering that many of the traditional customs are not gay friendly. It is an opportunity for you to express your love and union with your loved ones, in a welcoming and dreamy environment. Here are a few steps to consider when planning your LGBT wedding ceremony:

  • Choose a venue that is LGBT friendly

Although the range of locations is vast, you may come across planners who have a more traditional perspective on the wedding idea. Therefore, it is advisable to make sure that everything is fine and that your wedding will be by the book. We believe that weddings are about love – that’s why with us you can have all of your dreams come true!

  • Decide how and who will go down the aisle

If you would like to keep some of the wedding traditions, walking down the aisle should be one of them – this is the moment when the guests can admire you and celebrate your love in a setting that is familiar to everyone.

  • Pick your outfits

Being a non-conformist wedding, the choice of outfit should be to your liking. Lesbian couples, for example, can both dress in wedding dresses or, why not, in tuxedos, or both. The idea is that the ceremony is an opportunity for both of you to express your style and personality, without any restrictions.

  • Choose a wedding officiant that supports gay marriages

If you are in a country where same sex marriage is legal, then things might be easier for you. But, if your native country doesn’t allow such partnerships, find out that there’s a solution to this – our agency organizes same sex symbolic ceremonies everywhere in the world, so that you can celebrate your love freely, without restrictions.

  • Write your own vows

Invite supportive family members and friends and try to avoid those that might not approve of this union. Your vows should be made in an intimate setting, where you can feel comfortable expressing your deep feelings for your partner.

  • Elope in an exotic destination

If you are a more private couple, but still want to unite your destinies through a symbolic ceremony, then eloping might be the best choice for you. There’s nothing more beautiful than sharing this special moment with only the partner that you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with.

Weddings in the wood: Why choose the forest as your wedding venue + Tips on how to organize an enchanting ceremony among the trees

A relationship is sprinkled with many memorable moments, but none compare to the one when you unite your destinies forever. So, the big day is fast approaching, and the enthusiasm seems to be growing day by day. You have already decided that you want a wedding in nature, away from the crowds and noise, but you don’t know where to start? Find out in this article what steps to follow for a fairytale wedding in the woods!

1. Forest themed weddings: Reasons why you should get married in the forest

If you are a couple who loves to walk in nature, hike or have any other outdoor activities, then a wedding in the woods would be the best choice for you – it will give you a sense of freedom and connection that may not be possible indoors. Nature has its own decorations and the forest offers you many options when it comes to choosing a theme or a dress code.

Here are a few reasons why the forest is the best venue for nature lovers:

  • Space won’t be an issue

Whether you prefer a big wedding, with the whole family and friends, or a more private one, you can enjoy a wedding in which space will no longer be a problem. Guests will have the opportunity to dance freely or retire somewhere under a tree when they feel the need. Also, you can benefit from what nature can offer and organize outdoor activities in various spots to keep guests entertained.

  • You won’t need any elaborate decorations

Depending on the chosen season, your wedding can be decorated naturally by the ornaments of nature. To highlight the beauty of the forest, you can use some decorative objects, such as string lights to decorate the trees, safe candles, wreaths and carved wood details.

  • It’s the perfect place for a themed wedding

A wedding in the woods is like a story – you two are the main characters, and the guests become fairies, princes, wizards, knights and other figures specific to fairy tales and fantasy stories. Or you can get your inspiration from Shakespeare’s play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream – that’s something you don’t see everyday! No matter your choice, there are many ways you can organize a themed wedding, with costumes that complement the magic of nature. Certainly the guests will be delighted by this initiative, which will illustrate your out of the box style.

  • It brings people close together

Many studies have shown that activities in nature can have a big impact on human’s behaviours – it helps reduce stress and worries and can also have a positive influence on creativity, memory and general moods. Moreover, it has a profound impact on human interaction, being the perfect environment for connecting with other people.

2. Enchanted forest themed wedding, in a few steps

Although it sounds like a dream wedding, organizing such an event in the forest is not an easy task. But when there’s desire and ambition, anything is possible! So, before you start this mission, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Get a permit

You have already chosen the ideal location for you, but before you start setting up, check if the place needs a special permit. Only this way you’ll be allowed to organize your event without any issues.

  • Book a registrar

See if the town hall to which the chosen area belongs has a state officer available to travel on your wedding day to officiate the civil ceremony. If this is not possible, you can always have a symbolic ceremony with the majestic nature as your witness.

  • Decide on chairs and tables

If the weather allows, tables can be placed outdoors, under clear skies, with mosquito repellents at hand, of course! If, however, this idea is perhaps too bold (especially since you cannot predict the weather), place a tent with a transparent ceiling, through which the colors of the sky can be seen. As a design, wooden tables and stump chairs could be the elements to complete a rustic wedding.

  • Choose your wedding costumes

Perhaps the most fun part of organizing a wedding, choosing the costumes is always a priority. And rightly so – the way you are dressed defines the event itself and is the centerpiece of the photo shoot.

For a forest themed wedding, the bride should wear a dress with a graceful design, made of light materials – lace, tulle, satin or silk, and decorated with delicate embroidery or even natural flowers. And the veil must be inspired by nature, tied to a floral wreath. The groom can find inspiration in vintage Hollywood movies – a light shirt, a hipster hat and a big smile.

Proposal ideas at home: What to do before asking the big question + Cute themes to make the moment even more special

Are you planning to ask for your partner’s hand, but you are the kind of couple who prefers privacy? Then a marriage proposal at home is an excellent idea if your other half is a more introverted person, who prefers to spend a weekend evening in the comfort of their home, than to go out. But even if you do this from home, it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be special. Therefore, do the proposing only after you consider some important aspects.

1. Engagement ideas at home: Things to to before the proposal

So, you found the love of your life and finally have decided to propose, but don’t know where to begin? Well, starting from the idea that you want everything to be perfect and memorable for your partner, we have prepared a little guide to help you start this very special mission. Here are a few things to consider before asking the big question in the privacy of your own home:

  • Clean the house

Certainly, the marriage proposal will not be special if you do this with clothes thrown around the house or dirty dishes in the sink. So, to gain the appreciation of your future spouse, make sure the place is clean and ready for a new stage in your lives. Of course, if you don’t have the time, you can always hire a cleaning company, but your partner will probably appreciate it much more if they’ll find out that you were the one who put in the effort.

  • Let their family know

If you appreciate classic values or simply want to start this engagement right, there’s one thing to remember: talk to the parents before taking the big step ! Your partner’s family will certainly appreciate that you have asked for their blessing and that you have involved them in this special moment in your lives.

  • Write a speech

You might not realise it now, but the big moment might be very emotional. So, for things to be exactly the way you want them to be, make sure you are going to rehearse the words you want to declare to your other half. This is not a guarantee that you won’t be overwhelmed by feelings, but at least you know you have something at hand if you can’t find your words.

  • Choose a theme

Of course, you can ask in marriage in the simplest ways. You can write the big question on the ceiling, or perhaps bring them breakfast in bed and the ring on a muffin or simply to kneel randomly in the house and propose. But an engagement proposal is a unique moment in your lives, so why not put a little effort into it? Think of a special theme for you, inspired by an exotic destination where you spent dreamy moments, your favorite movie or even a board game you play with friends. What do you identify with as a couple? Answer this question and choose a topic that has a deep and fun meaning.

2. Ways to propose at home: Creative themes for your inspiration

A marriage proposal can involve enthusiasm, but also many butterflies in your stomach. Overwhelmed by emotions, you may find it difficult to decide the best way to ask the big question. Find some ideas for your inspiration below!

2.1. Romantic proposal idea at home: Exotic island

Maybe you decided to do this in the cold season or you are simply fascinated by travel and exotic places. Whatever the reason, this theme will bring a lot of joy to your home.

Use specific decorations for an exotic destination: dwarf potted palm trees, orchids and other tropical flowers and also images with dream places, such as Bora Bora, Thailand or Cuba. As an addition to the summery decorations, you can use candles and a room freshener with tropical fruit aroma.

Dress like you are on vacation and put on your slippers and sunglasses. Then, turn on some ocean sounds in the background and wait for your other half sitting on a sunbed in the middle of the living room, along with a delicious home-made cocktail. Your partner will definitely be surprised!

2.2. Proposal ideas at home with family

Even if your future spouse is a more private person, that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t enjoy sharing this unique moment with their dear parents. If you are on good terms with their family, then this is an opportunity to get to know each other better and come up with a plan that will bring delight and wonderful emotions to your partner. This will show you how important family values are to you, which will surely be appreciated by your future in-laws, but also by your significant other.

If the parents cannot be present for various reasons, then an online meeting may be the solution. Place a phone in a hidden place with visibility to the area where the big moment is taking place and start the video conference before your partner enters the room. Make sure that those on the other side of the screen will not make any noise during the marriage proposal

A surprise party is also a great idea, but only if your partner really loves surprises! Involve your future parents in law in this cute mission and organize a proposal party to remember for a lifetime! You can also invite some close friends – they will appreciate for sure that you chose to share this special moment with them. You can choose any day of the week, preferably a moment when your partner comes home from work and doesn’t suspect what’s about to come.

Therefore, asking for marriage at home is an excellent idea, because you can do this in the privacy of your own home, while you can surprise your partner in countless ways. From themed proposals to surprise parties, your home can be the ideal place to express your creativity and love for your significant other.

Modern brides do not fully preserve this tradition, but many of them choose to keep this habit alive by wearing a white dress, but with a black veil or other element in this colour. The veil, symbolic especially for the southern part of the country, is called “mantilla” and is made of lace.
